indian Summer

I hear that there was a dusting of snow on the rocky peaks that face Denver this week. Summer is winding down for some, while here in SF the fog is about to lift and bring us our version of summertime. Big changes in the last few months for the gang. We got Stefan back on the mainland, complete with an uber hip haircut and Japanese foreign exchange student style handlebars on his Surly. Big changes next month too. I'm sure a post will emerge from the Mexico trip. Here is what the end of the Colorado summer brought to me this year.

Sipping Mojitos at my Vail condo. I managed to take an entire week off with the ladyfriend and relax properly. Nettles and Rankin made the trip for a Lasagna dinner and some Skip-Bo. A trip to remember for sure.

Saw the SF Symphony perform Antonio Vivaldi's 4 Seasons. When I was a kid we often listened to classical music during our sit down dinners and this was a family favorite. Nice to know all the tunes before you see a show.

Found this guy outside a cafe that I was at before work one Sunday morning. He had a boombox and was blasting metal at 9AM doing bong rips and yelling along. Made my day.

I enrolled in a welding class at CCSF this fall. Got a new auto-darkening hood that looks like I mugged a superhero. So rad.

Turning out rack parts at the machine shop at CCSF. Let me know if you want one. I'll start actually making these things soon.

...things to come... you'll see.

Gambling with Willy. Learned a fun dice game at the bar. 1-4-24. You have to get a 1 and a 4 for your score to count, high score wins. At least one die must be removed each roll.

I bought my first set of unbelievably overpriced tickets from a scalper to go see Band Of Horses at the Fillmore SF. Totally worth the money. These guys are one of my favorites.

Jerry, Janis, and Bill.

Stem jig. Butcher Bicycles is coming soon(ish).

Happy trails everyone. Call me and say hi. I don't have Facebook.
