Thou Shalt Steel.

The threat of free pizza and cheap Italian beers brought out a slew of bike nerds for the Northern California Handmade Bicycle show today. Some of the Bay Area's finest bicycle craftsmen brought their showpieces out to the party. I'll let the low-res pictures speak for themselves.

Cameron Falconer from the Freewheel/Hunter cyclocross race team made this blue singlespeed shredmachine for the show, check out the rad shorty V-brakes he machined also...

Blue Collar Bicycles - I have no idea where these guys are from. Cool bike though. Singlespeed MTB with handmade lugs and dropouts... Very nice.

Caletti Commuter Bike - Alfine rear hub with belt drive and disc brakes... Love the integrated stem/bars...

The infamous Bruce Gordon, Ti lugged carbon town bike? f'n crazy. Carbon fenders Ti front rack full SRAM Red. And I thought Green Bike had a ridiculous build for a city bike. This is way over the top grandpa style.

The place was packed and it was tough to get any pictures, but you get the idea. Great time, and the sun even came out. Next year I'll be in the show...
