I really thought that this whole DDBG thing would be a little bigger than this... I was hoping it would be the new Macarena. I figured everyone wanted to be part of something bigger than themselves that didn't involve joining the military or a christian fundamentalist kickball league. Maybe we are all getting too old for gang activity or maybe since this is turning into a photography blog everyone thinks we are lame or something. I only ride my bike to get around these days and when I get home from work all I want is to drink a glass of wine and chill out with my woman. And, worst of all, I think I'm going to keep it that way. It feels great. It's not like I'm going to pick up hang-gliding or some stupid mid-life-crisis sport like that, and surfing really isn't that fun (at Ocean Beach). so what's a man to do?
Maybe I'll get a motorcycle or start playing D&D with the comic book crowd.
-I kicked the rut and went on an adventure with my holga to take 35mm lo-fi pics of nothing, I need to get over to Willy's to use the scanner so i can get all of the pics up. Might as well stretch my legs out in the hipster-toy camera revolution, right? This town is great for faking artistic ability...

-Powell Street and the Trolley cars at night, using 35mm Fuji 200 film with no flash and the shutter held open for a second or so. Made the foreground really sharp and blurred the background. cool...

-Trumpet player on Union Square. Same setup as before.

-Couple on a bench in the Jewish Contemporary Museum garden. Same setup as before...

-This is what I might look like if I was a black man.
Hope everyone has a killer week.
