Sea Otter and class

Went down to the Sea otter classic to hobnob with all the bike nerds. Saw the new Shimano mountain group. 10 speed mountain 11-36 rear 24-32-42 front. Pretty rad i guess... if you need 30 gears to rip around.

Watched a few hours of downhill... looked like this times 70 or so dudes and ladies. pretty fun course. Seems like a pretty tame DH course compared to the other big courses I've seen.

Yeti 1 and 2...

The road down there is lined with huge fields of Artichokes... I had never seen them growing in real life before. They even had a roadside market selling them 12 for a five bucks...

Still working on my project in class... learned how to use the lathes' feed functions and am turning out some pretty cool tools...
